Therapeutic Platonic Touch for Nervous System Support, Emotional Safety, and Authentic Connection
Cuddle therapy offers a trauma-informed space to experience safe, platonic touch, practice consent, and reconnect with your body without pressure to perform, entertain, or explain yourself.
Sessions are designed to support rest, communication, self-advocacy, nervous system co-regulation, and the deeply human need to feel cared for.
What is cuddle therapy?
A structured, consent-based service centered on safe platonic connection.
A session may include supportive touch, grounding, conversation, quiet rest, consent practice, mindfulness, emotional regulation support, or simply being held in a calm and respectful space.
This work is client-led. Your preferences, boundaries, comfort, and pace guide the session. You never have to know exactly what you want before arriving. Part of the work is learning how to notice, ask, adjust, and communicate in real time.
Who this may support
People reach out for many reasons.
You do not need to be “good at” receiving touch. You do not need to arrive calm, confident, or certain.
Many clients begin exactly where they are: nervous, curious, grieving, overwhelmed, touch-starved, guarded, or unsure. That is allowed here.
Before your session
Every new client begins with an intake conversation.
This conversation helps us explore whether cuddle therapy is the right fit for your needs, goals, and current circumstances. It is also a chance for you to ask questions, learn what to expect, and get a feel for whether you are comfortable working with me.
- What prompted you to reach out
- Whether you are looking for an in-call or outcall session
- What length of session feels right
- Your general comfort with touch
- Any boundaries, accessibility needs, or environmental preferences
- Consent, communication, and what helps you feel safe
Submitting an inquiry does not confirm a session. Sessions are only considered booked after an intake conversation, mutual confirmation, and deposit.

Couples Sessions
Couples may work with me to practice communication, consent, emotional safety, and platonic touch in a supported container.
These sessions can be helpful for partners who want to better understand each other’s nervous systems, boundaries, touch needs, and communication patterns without pressure or performance.
Public or Low-Pressure First Meetings
Some clients feel more comfortable beginning in a public setting, such as a park or other calm location.

For referral providers
A supportive adjunct for adults who may benefit from safe platonic connection.
Cuddle therapy may be a supportive adjunct for adults navigating touch deprivation, grief, caregiver burnout, relational stress, body-based anxiety, difficulty identifying needs, or limited access to safe platonic connection.
This service is not psychotherapy, massage, medical treatment, or crisis support. It may complement care from therapists, physicians, hospice teams, case managers, bodyworkers, and other wellness providers when appropriate.
My work emphasizes consent education, communication skills, nervous system co-regulation, self-advocacy, mindfulness, emotional safety, and referral to additional support when a client’s needs fall outside my scope.
